Being Native American, one major problem I would like to elaborate on is the importance of our Native American language. This is a great concern within many tribes and pueblos throughout New Mexico. I feel I can genuinely encourage the younger generations to learn as much of their language while they are young. I think tribes need to learn and teach the younger generations the importance of learning native languages and cultures, which is the very essence to our Native American lives.
